Mission Statement:

To increase the independence of people with spinal cord injuries by reducing their need for glasses and contact lenses through vision correction surgery.

 

Focus on Independence, Inc is a not-for-profit organization that provides laser or surgical vision correction at no cost to individuals paralyzed by spinal cord injuries.

Barry Elbasani has teamed up refractive surgeons Daniel S. Durrie and Robert K. Maloney to launch a national program called Focus on Independence.
